God's blessings.. His way is greater than mine.

Today was a GREAT day!!! enjoyed good time of fellowship at GB in the morning, and had good time of chatting, fellowship, catching up with WL over lunch at Cafe Cartel! haha. (while still sticking to my 'Daniel fast' too! XD )

then, went down to Believer Music. I shall not go full into the explanation, but Believer Music was having an opening sale having just moved into fro Tanjong Pagar to Novena, Velocity. It was the 2nd last day for 2nd-hand keyboards sale... mom called in, and they happened to have 2 more left, so i went down to see.

Yamaha Keyboard, 2nd-hand with defects; defect - speaker volume is not as loud (but loud enough); price - $109!!! Original price = $443!!! meaning i got about 75% DISCOUNT!!! hallelujah! and it's (to me lah) still considered in quite good condition. As i'm thinking of going for keyboard lessons soon, so i was also considering whether should get.

then i realised tat today the guitar sales is finally out. so mind as well get it today. haha. mom actually reserved one already - $99!! i asked to see the guitar, the receptionist asked me if i would want to see the coach guitar. COOL!! the one my mom reserved, being the best of the offers then, was the one we use in the studios during our trainings. and the coach guitar, TGM D100 has a nicer sound and feel, and it was only $10 more!!! haha.. another $109!!

great day bringing back 2 good instuments with mom, $109 each. Ended up spending the rest of the day packing my room and stuffs, shifting furnitures and stuff to create space for the keyboard, which also helped make my room more spacious! XD

anyways, reflecting upon the entire day and the recent events in regards to instruments.. God's timing and ways truly amazes me. If you've read my previous articles about my Maestro guitar, you'll know that my home was without a proper acoustic guitar for more than a month... it got damaged since jan. My mom and bro resumed their guitar lessons in feb... having to practice with a classical guitar and my hybrid guitar (classical body wif metal strings). It was then when we realised how difficult it was for us to practice without another proper acoustic guitar. Should my Maestro guitar returned to us very fast, we might not have felt the need to get one, nor look out for offers.

Moreover, it was only this year when Believer Music moved over to Novena, and their opening sale was only in April. My sister and I have stopped lessons since somewhere mid-last year, and my mom&bro, if they had not taken a short break end last year and continued this year, we would probably not have still been currently taking their lessons during this period, and might have missed this opportunity. haha.

Also, i had wanted to take my keyboard lessons since last year and had contemplated to take both keyboard and guitar at the same time. Should i have done that last year, i would have either practiced with difficulty using my electone organ or have bought a keyboard (which is very expensive and will not get my dad's approval). The timing was perfect, as i could either start lessons next year after my A's (which i originally planned to) or take up the Beginner's course during the June hols, which i think i'll likely do since i know got a keyboard and is longing like crazy to play it. haha. XD

reflecting and analysing all these, all i can say is indeed God's ways are greater than mine. I was angry and displeased about Maestro's slow service. but it proved to our advantage. Some may say these are coincidences, but seriously think about it, how can it all be so coincidental? I'll still firmly and confidently say, God's way is greater than mine. I praise God for all his blessings! including the very good offer of $109 each for keyboard and guitar, both 2nd-hand but in very good conditions. =D

I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAH.... WHHHEEEEEEE...............
