me, linnie, wl went down to J8 swensons to treat ourselves (me and lin) for 'surviving' block tests, and just to chill. wanted something sweet so went there. haha. i had a 'Hazel Daze' (yum!) [$8.00] and first time eat meal in Swensons, eat one icecream still feel quite hungry, so went to Breadtalk after that and bought a Nacho Cheese! *lick lips* [$1.40]
haha.. then we walk walk walk around J8. then got some funny incidents... eg. saw Mr S. Ong, Ms W. Tang and another teacher from PHS. actually went up the escalator before deciding to say hi to them, and since lin wanted to say hi to Ms Tang, we went down say hi, and i saboed lin by telling Ms Tang tat lin wanted to say hi to her... muahahaha. then we walk round and round, then lin gotta go, then me and weili walked Popular then TrumpetPraise! everywhere i go see stuffs, wanna buy. Seriously if i had $100 with me then, i'm sure to spend it all. I saw nice ecouragement cards, and bought them! gonna bless pple with them, esp for my cell - first pple tat came to my mind then. yup yup. haha. crazy time, coz partially high after going for drama and being influenced by the contagious energy of the J1s who were having drama with Tina without the J2s (having block tests). yup yup. left there at like 9++pm.
THURSDAY!!! NO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!! becoz i finish my block tests already while others still have.
started the morning by going out! haha. down to somerset, to meet with sis qiuyan for breakfast! @ Killiney Kopitiam down Killiney Road itself. =) had French toast (yum!) and soyamilk. i was right! they did dip the bread into beaten egg before being toasted/fried. [Do you know what French toast is? French toast is a common delicacy though its origins remain unknown. Usually, the bread is fried till golden brown and served with streaks of bacon. French toast is one of our shop’s specialties; it is prepared entirely different from the ones you would find in restaurants. The colour of the bread is plain yellow, as the bread toast has been dipped into beaten eggs before being toasted meticulously, which is our preferred healthier cooking method. French Toastso went down to dhoby gaut where we met, walked in Plaza Sing. chat, and he ate while i watched him, becoz i felt like i just eaten breakfast lah, so not hungry but he was hungry.. then we go book tickets for movie.. MARLEY AND ME! [$6.00] so weird lah. becoz 1st time i go watch movie with one person only, and it's a guy! xp nopes, there's nothing between us, just strictly friends. i'm nice so pei him since he wanna hang out after just finishing block tests. haha. actually, if i hadnt already stepped out of the house in the morning, i'll probably be too lazy to get out of the house just to pei him. haha... then keep seeing NYpple, tried to avoid them, especially a couple we saw that he knew, i only know the girl and dont really like.. not that we have anything to hide, but just for fun, and to spare us explaining to others. haha. then just before we caught the 2.10pm movie, i saw student take-away dimsum set - chicken wings+3display dimsum choices+homemade drink [$4.50], bought for my lunchie during the show. show was nice! though the death of marley brought back threatening tears from the memories of lucky boy. yup. then after the show go walk walk some more at Plaza Sing, then went home, watch GTO!! (Great Teacher Onizuka!) haha. had quite a good interesting day; not say a very productive day (in terms of getting work/tasks done) but a good restful day that's eventful & well & full of fellowships.
FRIDAY!!! NO SCHOOL.. but kanna persuaded to go back... SP EMPOWERMENT!!! yeah!
was convinced by my fren (which seemingly most of my class already know who) to start doing maths tutorial, though block tests are over.. becoz "A levels are coming in just a few months!!" so went back in afternoon.. spend 5 hours to attempt 7 qns, to complete 2-3qns. sigh. but at least i started. =) especially when calculating and knowing that tat weekend, both days full day out, wont do tutorials.. and my dear sis kept disturbing me as i was trying to study in the library. geez. was hungry so me and ris shared a 大包[my share - $0.50] just before leaving school.
then dinner with some z2 folks before SP empowerment. yum! had tom yum beehoon soup at 'the Secret Place' [$4.50].
SP empowerment was enjoyable! as the whole Ignyte @ PL SPs gathered together with the adult leaders and PDa. haha. had a 'lecture' taking down notes in none other than 'Lecture Theatre 2' itself! hehe. okays lah, it's not really a lecture... but Pas Dom. teaching and discipling us via a video, and we were encouraged to take down notes, which we did. my sis was commenting first time a lecture got so quiet and everyone so attentive. i said becoz school lectures are boring and not really applicable, while this is interesting and is speaking to every individual life, how to help and disciple us...
had a great time talking to different ignyte pple. =) though by the end of it... though alert, dun really feel tired, but the mind was, and thus acted slowly and stuff. (sorry, i get a little cranky when my mind is very tired)
SATURDAY!!! whole day out from 8am to 1030pm........... wheeee...............hahahaha.
went to GB (PHS).. was down for guitar playing for devotion, so met MinWei&Crystabel(i think) @8.15am to pratice and run through songs. helped weili teach sec1s drill, helped laura with the sec1's brigade knowledge test, played guitar for devotion, helped with the giving out of new 40th anniversary tees. had lunch - charsiew rice + 豆奶加青草 [$2.60]. then it was drill practice for upcoming drill competition. i stayed to see their progress and help in correcting them, as i waited for 4++pm to draw near.
then, me and weili met lin, michie, yt & her classmates at cityhall mrt to go to the.. SINGAPORE FLYER!!! wheee.. dint had a good start though. was raining. went to the bus stop to await the shuttle bus, too crowded so have to miss that bus, stayed near the back end of the bus stop as the bus stopped there just now. 20-30min later, the shuttle came back, but stop at the front end instead.. pple squeeze and stuff, the 10 of us, 3 of us just missed.. there was only 1 seat left.. they refused to let more than sitting capacity to go in. it was raining, there was no queue and we had already missed one shuttle and people who came later had gotten up the shuttle. so in the end, we left out 3 took a cab down.. wow! very short while, maybe about 5-7min, but cost... >$9.00 (with $3.00 for being in CBD, and more $$ becoz it's peak hour... if not original will be just $4.60.. Singapore's taxis are crazy daylight robberies!!) [my share-$2.00]
well, anyways, got there, took the flyer. long queue but moved fast so dint have to wait very long.. was very hungry though. hungry ever since 4++pm. =( but flyer was fun!! haha. main reason becoz i was with fun pple whom i enjoy and miss their company a lot (too used to always hanging out whole day in school in upper sec)... yups yups. and very fun to take photos, and play around with phototaking skills.
then DINNER!!! walked to Suntec, thanks to YT's dad who kindly directed us there, walking with us half way down... when to 'Just Noodles' by the recommendation of WL to go eat the meal there and enjoy the free flow of icecream and drinks! yum!! loved the mango icecream. superb nice! ordered our food. mine is dunno what set, the cheapest but looked quite nice and taste yum too[$5.90 + 7%GST ~ $6.60]. while waiting for food to come, me and michie who have been starving since 5pm went to attack the icecream first! our food came quite fast when i still havent yet finished my icecream. funnily and most interestingly this meal, i was the slowest to finish and i was the quietest!! very surprising.. becoz i usually eat very fast, and they know it too, and at meal fellowships i usally quite chatty, esp with this group, but this round i hardly talked... and yet i ate superb slow such tat they all finished i still had half to 1/3 of my set meal to complete. wells, beside my set (consisting of the fried pork, rice, soup, pickles) and the appetising icecream starters, i washed down 1 cup peach tea, 2/3cup root beer float, 1 icecream bowl of mango icecream, 1 spoon of double chocolate chip, and end off with a little 1/4cup of peach tea. ahhhh.. superb full and satisfying. To be starved for this feast.. worth it.

Fountain of WealthLeft Just Noodles at 9++pm, went to see Fountain of Wealth (since we're there and it's so pretty) for 10-15min then went home. reached home at about 1030pm. on the way home talked a lot, laughed a lot. my friends said i was drunk. said my face was very red, and i was kinda going a little hysterical already.. haha. but had a great time! esp since we all 5 gathered, esp michie who's more seldom seen since she's the only 1 among us at YJC.
SUNDAY!!! yeah! ignyte!! whoopee!! cell and service, and a great bunch of pple to be with!!! and HY coming down again...
awoke! yea, cant wait to go for cell! learnt about mentorship. dunno why pple seemed so 'dead' today, but yah. cell werent too bad, though Sherm seemed to got a little nervous at times leading the sharing, esp with HY around.. haha. but well, she's usually a little nervous leading sharing, but she's getting better at it, i think. =)
service was good, although i agree with HY that the music was blasting! it was quite loud this round. i love the word shared by sis gwen on the power of the Holy Spirit... gave me quite a few reminders, and a few revelations too.. i dint really know that the Spirit within me prays for me, interceding for me...
lunch at Secret Place - fried rice [$3.50] with alvin, gloria, gerald, HY.. dunno where desmond disappeared to.. then they went off, i went down for baptism service at 2.30pm to support Matthias and Noelle. after tat there was refreshments provided, and we z2 supporters then had a fun time taking photos with Matt's web cam, taking lotsa funny pics! haha... hope i can kope from him soon. then went back home, same bus as sis mad, who kept rushing us to go, and danny boy. fun time talking in the bus, though i was very very tired and would have slept all the way through if they werent with me.
Well... IN CONCLUSION...
I had a great 5 days of constant fellowshipping and eating out with different people. I enjoyed myself tremondously and also spent lots within just 5days - $31.60... wow! But i really really thank God for the different individual fellowships i had with different people. it was fun and really enjoyable, and i really appreciate how God seemed to have already planned all these to fall so nicely in place. Hallelujah! Praise God for all these blessings, and the even more blessings he had blessed and more that are to be received. thank you Lord!
