haha. been waiting for this day for so very long, a cell time together outta cell meeting context, just for a time of fellowship! yeah! esp with the new cell leaders. they've been trying hard. It's hard for them since they find it hard to connect with the younger ones (oh, me? i just flow along with anyone. i learnt the art of being quite adaptable. XD though it doesnt seem to help with transiting though).
Anyways, the 8 of us went down to Just Acia (YES!! free flow icecream!!!! & drinks!!! ROOT BEER FLOAT!!!) for lunch, from about 2.45pm to 6.15pm! yea! we ate, played taboo! and muchkin fu!! haha. it was quite fun, and i was very high. several reasons...
1. a particular brother surprisingly turned up for cell, and came early too, yesterday (HALLELUJAH!!)
2. another brother, cell member, whom i thot wont come turned up too, late but came!
3. it was FULL ATTENDENCE!! for the cell (minus off the 2 MIAs, due to special reasons)
4. i was soooooooooooooo happy! that we're finally going out, AS A CELL!
5. cell lunch turn out was good! majority could come, esp the few whom i was eyeing. XD
yeah! praise the Lord for His goodness and favour.
true that in the beginning it was kinda awkward, and the quiet ones were still very quiet, despite attempts to make them start talking. Oh well, but when it comes to taboo, you die die also gotta talk. haha. well, poor sherm was very very tired. can see she was trying to engage but the physical lethargicness was wearing her down, so after staying with us for at least an hour, she decided to go home rest, or rather i encouraged her to since she really was very very tired.
but i think the part where i enjoyed best was the munchkin fu game me, fab, drew, ger, des played. It was sooo funny. drew and fab knew how to play while me, ger, and des were soooo lost. des dint play long (becoz drew took such a loooong time explaining.. haha... and des gotta leave earlier) but at the ending part, can tell he was opening up and losing his 'i'm-lost-in-my-own-world' look as he saboed his cousin with a trap! haha. XD
ger was getting manipulated by fab and drew who were winning and gaining levels very fast, compared to all of us. They keep asking ger for favours, and he was like anything, *smiles*, and they gave him some rewards, which in the end helped him to rise in level too... thus the name "the silent killer" by me, becoz at a point of time, he was higher level than drew, and drew kinda helped him grow so high by keep making deals with him.
drew and fab was constantly attacking each other becoz they were both rising up the levels so fast, while ger was also rising, but very silently.
i was the slowest... taking my own time to rise the levels, becoz i took soooo long to understand the game. it was only within the last half hour that i finally caught the game and grew really excited! haha. xD
guessed who won and reached level 10 first? was it the competitive duo - fab and drew? was it the one i named "the silent killer"???
the answer.... is...
NONE OF THE ABOVE!!!!
I WON THEM ALL BY GAINING TWO LEVELS IN A ROW!!!! haha. and by my own 'strength' too!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... hahaha. the irony of it all. the most unsuspecting one, the slowest one, the most really (not acting, like ger) blur one, WON!!!! haha. XD
so fun!! wanna play again!
and my next fav thing!!!!! i forgot to mention.... THE ICE CREAM!!!! sad, there wasnt yam ice cream this round... but... they make it up with... DURIAN ICE CREAM!! yum! durian + mango icecream, 够了!
well, wanna end by once again thanking God for first, the turn-up. Second, the more-or-less success! third, the FUN TIME!
