My dear's birthday celebration

yes! success. haha. simple, complicated, yet rewarding. this is the simpliest birthday celebration i've ever planned/take part in... just get the group of us, unexpectedly appear before her, present her with a cake, have a simple dinner at kopitiam and then all go home. over in 2-3hrs.
complicated becoz hard to coordinate, since we're all so busy, gotta get mich down from yishun, buy cake, get forks and plates, plan how and where to surprise, 3 of us got drama rehearsal before that, and she mom was here to see teacher.

haha. but really thank God, in the end, last min plan change all worked well, and the look of surprise/astonishment/shock was superb rewarding. She looked so surprisingly touched that i think anytime tears might have flowed. i mean who on earth will think that there is a surprise waiting at the stairs where you're just passing by to go get dinner?? XD

haha. thank God her mom, last min came into the picture, i was able to have a brief moment with her, and briefed her on it, and she coorporated well. XD

later my dear sent a msg: "Hey girls, thanks for making my 18th the best birthday ever! I've never had a surprise birthday :) love you all and looking forward to our next outing :) "

she deserves it. =) after all, she's been such a great friend to each of us personally. =) my dearest dear.

though i do feel apologetic that we couldnt come with presents (had been too busy to get it done by then), and some of us were like real tired.. at least i was. it was a long day for me, one thing after another, all my breaks doing hw, and do until so slow that i couldnt even catch a wink the entire day. Severe lack of sleep + dehydration for 4hrs without water (coz dint have time to refill water/forgot) = falling sick at night. It's really by God's miracle that i was able to last the entire day. Only going home did i realised how tired i actually was. haha. But really glad that as close friends, we made her day that night.
