Went for ice skating with my sis and 2 church frens, a guy and a gal fren, Justin and Cass ... nah, dont get it wrong... we are all just friends, no BGRs here...
Anyway, the 4 of us went ice skating... Jus and Cass knows how to skate, while my sis is the first timer and i, a second timer in the ice ring. it was real fun though i fell quite a number of times, but we laughed over it. =D
Jus could skate very well, can do turns, skate backwards and was trying to do jumps... Cass was not bad too and was trying to pick up some turns from Jus... me and my sis was trying to gain confidence and not fall =)
It was really really very very fun and the time of fellowship and getting to know each other better was good. Couldnt believe how talented Jus is... i was in the same class as him in primary one and can still recognised him when he came for IGNYTE two months ago... haha, but he cant remember me. Anyway, i never did know him well and while going out together, i got to know Jus and Cass better. It was totally an enjoyable and fun time though my legs and arms ached that day and yesterday...

Tues:
yesterday, my church had LOST!Well, it was quite fun... no... it was very very fun. XD
Initially, i was having second thoughts about going, but once it started, i enjoyed every single moment. We were split into teams, mine was Unity. Great name for my group for we were very united, and near each other to help each other.
My group split into two teams, to allow us to procede on faster... We were all in a plane crash and trying to collect the most supplies so that we would win the competition that we may be 'rescued'. At our starting station, we had to all move from one spot to another. all of us couldnt talk except the 'blind man'... all of us had different injuries and had to help each other across.
After that, as our maps showed all the stations, but we do not know the names of the station and had to follow the chronological order to play at a station, we split in our two teams to find out the names of the different stations... looking also for our next station, station B... My team was Unity Team2, while the other half was team 1.
Team 1 found station B, while my team continued to explore other stations and find another Station B... we found the other 2 remainding station B, one was already taken and the other needed the whole group. We quickly called Team1, and they rushed down to join us, a few seconds before another's whole group gathered. Phew! just in time.
Station B: we had to write down our particulars and remember each others' particulars so that we can later arrange ourselves in order withour talking.
StationC: we had to 'share' with a person who doesnt wanna listen about forgiveness... that means we had to show forgiveness... no point talking because that person wont listen... that was funny and interesting.
Station D: we rushed to station D and were told that needed the whole group... Phone out.. ring ring... pls rush down... another group was just behind my team and also waiting for the other half of their group to come... too bad my whole group gathered furst... u can see our unity!
Anyway, we had to 'play' heart attack using cards... if anyone 'had' 4same cards he had to do an action and the rest of us had to follow, the last person will become a pig, the more pigs, the less supply we will get. anyway, as we didnt want to lose an supplies, we make a deal that we will not have any heart attacks... so we just spent 10 minutes passing cards. =)
Station E: my team was shown a card trick and we had to solve it and show the station master before we can continue... it work like this ... i spell 1 - "one", as i spell each letter, i take a card from the top of my deck and put below the deck... that means i put 3cards below my deck... the next card i flip open and it is an ace. then i count 2 - "two", another 3 cards below deck and the next card fliped out is a two... then 3, four cards below deck n e next card was a three... and so on, until 10, jack, queen, and king. As one of my team members knew the trick, we finished the station very fast.
Station F: we were told to hunt for 'wild boars' by spotting their colourful droppings... the station master gave us a list of colours of things he wanted, so all we had to do was spot the colours and point it out. When we finished, my group's team 1 appeared to play that station, as they needed one more person, and we were from the same group, one of my mates from my team went to help and they completed it very fast. we waited our other team to complete so that we can move on together to StationG, as there is only one station G... and it was .... ...
Station G: LUNCH TIME!!!
Station A: as we were two teams, and there were 2 or 3 station A, team 1 decided to wait for their turn at a station, while my team headed for the next station A to realised that they needed the whole team. We called the other team and they were just about to start, but stopped to join us... we had to use paper plates to catch 'durians' and if the durians touch you, you are injured and not allowed to continue catching 'durians' which were toy fruits. As that station was a double station, A and C, and team 1 has collect two B stations because they combined with us for the second, they stayed for stationC.
Station B: we were given numbers to decode... we did it in an instance as team1 already did that station and told us how to decode it.
while heading to stationC, we saw team 1 just arriving at their station D... just then, 'the others' appeared. They had 'viruses' and were trying to infect us by using their blue/black markers to dot us. Team 1 ran one direction and we ran another direction. my team ran past 2 adult leaders. then, we were called back by team 1 because 'the others' caught someone from team1. on our way back, we passed the 2 adult leaders again and we were dotted... they were THE OTHERS!!! Anyway, we went back to realised that team1 was actually supposed to be safe because they were at a station... but anyway, my team still got dotted, so minus 20 faith points.
Station C: We were to safely bring the 'dynamites' ( cotton balls) from one point to another, cant use hands, only our noses... we had to put jam on our noses and a pair can only bring one 'dynamite' at a time... it was digusting, funny, fun, interesting... and we got loads of supply points for it.
Station D: we had to solve those metal puzzles, which was kind difficult...
Station E: a quiz for us to do.. as we rushed for fun.
Station F: we had 2 trays of muddy water with loads of pebbles, sticks and leaves inside, and we were to fish out the 'antibiotics' for the sick monkeys of MacRitchie reservoir... using toothpicks, hangers and string.
Because of time, we had to go to the meeting point as time was out... so couldnt finish all the stations... back to church.
We changed, had a debrief for the games, worship, short preaching, break up into briefing for IGNYTE@Adam, and IGNYTE@PayaLebar. Then after that, we gathered back together for prize presentation... guess whose group got the highest points and won the competition that they may be rescued... UNITY!!!
Hurray! My group won!!! It had indead been a great day of fun and a visitation from God... a time where we can prepare ourselves for what God has planned for us. Thank God for the great weather and fun and fellowship!
