Sat:
Couldnt sleep in, though i had approximately 8hrs of sleep, as i had to leave home at around 9am. I knew that once I stepped out of my house that morning, I would never stepped back into the house again that day... haha...
Made my way down to school for Mr Ng's 9.30am remedial. I was the only odd one out, the extra one not from his current class. Now, for me, as long i know that the remedial will benefit me, and i can make it, and the teacher invite me, I would GO FOR IT. Now, in the warming up of getting into the gear of studious mood, i dun really care face already. Put away the thots of awknesses of being the odd one out. At least i had frens tat were in his current class, so with them, dun feel that awkward.
anyway, the history part was so-so, he dint really go very in-depth, but it recapped a little. The best part was the when the official history remedial ended and upon our request, he went through the rise of Venice, which was really really good and helpful... but it made me late.
Remedial ended 12++pm, and i quickly threw my things in my bag and rushed off... to mich's house. I was suppossed to meet them at Toa Payoh @11.30am, but in the end i told them i wld be late becoz the ss part of remedial was too good for me to go off half-way. Mr Ng was also rushing off, becoz he was late for his date... haha... poor teacher, he sacrificed for us.
As i brisked walk to the MRT station, with the also rushing Mr Ng, i was making calls to mich and my dad, becoz i wld be going straight from mich's hse to meet my family. I was that busy, and my schedule was real tight. Even Mr Ng, coz he was beside me and going the same direction heard my calls, and wondered how come i was so busy.
I explained to him. Remedial, then rush to Mich's house to bake b'day cake, then had to rush down for high tea with my family at 1.45pm, then staying hotel that night, then next morning rushing to church,then lunch out. I left the house that morning, i knew i wont be stepping back into my house till sunday late afternoon. I was really on a very tight schedule that day.
ya, so rushed down to mich's house to bake a 3-tier cake for... WEILI!!! (weili, you better appreciate our sincerity and love, as a friend of course, for you!!!) my mom, knowing i'm going to school in the morning and later whole day out, wasnt happy that i'm going out to bake cake. she would had rather i come home and rest before going to high tea & hotel. But one thing i really appreciate about my mom is that though she expresses her opinions and her displeasure, she gave me the freedom to choose what i want to do.
ya, so i stayed around 45min and really had to go. Lin, Mich, YuTing, and Jessica who met at 11.30 bought the ingredients, and Jessica like stayed to help bake for about 15min and also had to rush off. (see lah weili, we busy also took time off specially for you. My mom and mich's mom wondering how come you so special, so priveledged, so honoured... i also dunno...haha)
rushed down to city hall interchange where i was meeting john, and bringing him to Plaza Cafe Market where we having high tea. Had a GREAT time... yum yum buffet. I ate from 2pm to 5pm... took my time of course. I ended up eating lunner and dinch. I LOVE THE LAKSA AND THE DURIAN PUDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *lick my lips*
in the end, after that, i really dint eat anything else, no dinner, no supper.
ya, anyway, after lunner/dinch, we 'rested' in the hotel room of Raffles Plaza Hotel till about 6pm, then went down to Esplanade, to visit the music shop - Maestro. Dad & bro went for the NDP preview. we gals (me, sis, mom) wanted a more relaxed evening. The guy there was really nice, friendly and helpful, we chatted with him and learnt a lot... and i got to see and hear a 12 STRINGED GUITAR!!! for the very 1st time of my life. No regrets man! and he recommended us to buy a guitar lesson book rather than a chord book as a chord book is more like a dictionary. We took his advice and bought the $31 teach yourself guitar book, though i'm already 1 1/2 yrs learning guit already.
ya, then while trying to contact Mr Choo to join us in our plot to help us keep weili's cake for us in staff rm & mochi, i relaxed in the hotel room, browsing thru e book i got, watching the parade marching from suntec city towards the NDP platform, the Red Lions (parachutes), fireworks, and watching 'a date with ted -'...

morning wake up, grabbed a bite, rushed to church for FUEL. So sad, Jannah dint join us AGAIN! =""(( i really really really wish she'll come more often. sigh... then serving as SOF! Yea! and went for lunch with Alvin, Asaph & his sis (Janice) at Long John @ Post Centre. Then took a detour to AMK Hub on the way back, to buy durian mochi to sabo weili with. It was my idea to buy durian to scare weili to thinking we are giving her that becoz she totally HATES durian and has near zero tolerance for it. (weili, see i dint lie to you when last wk i said we were plotting against you related to durian... who ask you dun believe me).
actually wanted to celebrate weili's bday on the actual day, 31stJuly, which is english & SS common test. But coz Mr C. wont be able to help us, & many other teachers as well coz majority of the teachers tat day got whole day course. so pushed forward. the durian mochi suppossed to monday buy but coz of change of plan, i went down on sun.
never been AMK Hub before, took some time to find the NTUC, which the durian shop is in front of, and joined the queue that i saw, to realised after i was half-way thru the Q that it was only for those ordering the durian pancake. i actually dint have to queue. wasted time XP
by the time i got home, it's past 3.30pm.
Mon:
slept this morning slightly after 1.15am and awoke at 5.55am to go to school early & meet the others so that we can pass the cake to Mr C before weili comes to school and suspect anything. Thanks Mr C for taking the effort to come earlier to help us. You contributed greatly to make sure the whole thing went on well. managed to trick weili into thinking that we were going to do something the next day. she wasnt prepared for monday's surprise.
Part of monday's excitement was lin's last min having to go for some dance meeting immediately after school for 1/2 hr, so we told Mr C that we switched the celebration to recess, so we take cake & mochi from him then. Then lin last min bio class switched with recess, so in the end, we changed back to after school.
after school, couldnt find Mr C, probably his meeting last min shifted earlier. was frantic. took me more than 15min to realise tat he had put the cake already at the sofa near the door of staff room for us. thank you Mr C for your thoughtfulness. And we had a great time of celebration, where i first tortured weili with the durian mochi (she wasnt expecting it). and then Jessica came out with the cake after that.
guess weili was quite surprised and touched at our 4KG 3-TIER CHOCOLATE CAKE THAT COST US $10X5PERSON = $50!!! had a great time. the chocolate cake was real..... nice, and very sweet. Guess it was really a sweet 16 for her. haha.... below are the pics we took as a birthday dedication to the birthday girl!!!

Really want to thank God that by His grace, eveything went off well without a hitch (except for the part where i wasted time when i wasnt observant enough to notice the cake, which Mr C had left, right in front of me). Real glad that Lin in the end can make it, Jessica very last min suppossingly couldnt come but in the end she could come, and Mich caught the flu bug & nearly dint come to school but in the end still came, and everyone was present - the 5 plotters, and the birthday gal herself (most importantly). And for sending us the great and helpful Mr C, who made a few personal sacrifices for us, and helped us made this surprise even more perfect and well plotted. XD
HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN BIRTHDAY WEILI!!!
**PS. today as majority teachers got course, the lower sec got IT day, the upper Sec got common test, and it's the only common test that after that can go home. I'm the only 'crazy' person who still curfew myself in school to study. XP but at least i revised some chapters of Chemistry and some past Econs lesson... recapping what i learnt.
