this so-called holiday aint feeling like a holiday... i seem so busy busy busy... even when i'm not really busy... and i cant seem to get out of this hectic world... not even for a day... anything for a REAL HOLIDAY where i can stop, rest, think, reflect, and meditate...
Sec school holiday starts 27Oct... but I was in the midst of Os... My holidays "OFFICIALLY" started when my O Level Papers were finished, which is 12Nov...

** the performances now at the zoo are below standard, worse than before... i'm disappointed.

29Dec --- Dinner Out then go watch CY Ballet Performance with Jos & Monica (Central Library@ Bugis)

Mii School Hols: total of 49days... i 42days have activities... which is 86% of my holidays have 'appointments'!!!
And the spare time in between these activities and the 'free' days... I'm mostly busy making the orders that are coming in from Gifts From The Heart... mainly from my mom... and also thinking/making something special for my loved ones.
Managed to free 2days to pack my PHS stuffs - books, files, papers... threw away only 1/2 the amt i'm supposed to throw... guess i gotta pack it again another day.
There's a WHOLE LONG LIST of things i WAS SUPPOSSED to do this hols... but it's still waiting for me... and it's already the end of the year!!!
this hols... the day passes very very slowly... but the days passes very very fast... understand what i mean?? haha... guess that's when you get time flying and crawling, both at the same time. =)
but this hols aint feel like a holiday AT ALL!!! Not even when I was in Beijing... the beijing tour for me, was more of an educational trip than a holiday... i learnt a lot, which i'm glad of... but it aint relaxing at all! every morning wake up at 6.30AM!!! night time sleep late... even in the bus travelling to towns, i'll be making friendship bracelets, listening to sermons/songs.
I wanted to get a proper part-time job... but couldnt find any coz of my 'contraints' - camp, beijing trip, guitar lessons... but i'm 'busy' enough... i dont mind the 'busy-ness' - catching up with pple & fellowshipping (about 14occasions), learning things (beijing, guitar lesson, fun jam, camp), and enjoying my craft hobby/business/gifts... however, my schedule is so packed and hectic... that i soooooo sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wish for a proper holiday to stop and relax. What do i mean by a proper holiday???
Holiday = leisure time away from work devoted to rest or pleasure [cited from WordNet]
To be able to stop in the midst of this hectic world, to rest, relax, take a break, not just physical break, but a mental break... not that the mind stops, but the mind relaxes.
Bring me to a place, definitely NOT in Singapore, where it is quite quiet, away from heavy traffic and main roads, nice scenery, preferably a scenic place close to nature, a place that aint too grand... just comfortable, beautiful, with good environment, good air, and cosy, with little activities going on there... 'nothing' for me to do...
There, i'll relax, take my time, stroll instead of brisk walking, sleep well, breath in fresh air, enjoy the scenic view and the breeze, enjoy the sounds of nature and its closeness... There, i'll reflect, read, write, plan, meditate on the Word of God, spend more time seeking God, communing with Him so close to His creation - Nature, His beautiful masterpiece.
And when I'm back to the routine of life, i'll be recharged! Physically, mentally, and spiritually. A Cruise to Nowhere would probably be able to do the trick as well... anyway to escape this hectic world for a moment, to stop and relax, and listen to God... all i ask is for this holiday once a year... just once a year... 3days would be good enough. Is this Too much to ask??
Anything... for a proper holiday... i feel very very in need for one right now... especially as the school term approaches and the new year draws near...
there's sooo much i wanna blog and post about... but caught up with a lot of things this hols... hope to spam post soon. XP
